Our tour, specially arranged for the DLFNY, will take us beyond the regular Stage Door Tour and give us a more detailed examination of the Art Deco interiors that define Radio City Music Hall. Along with the magnificent Grand Lobby, we’ll see the brand new Obscura Digital Lighting Projections that bedazzle the massive 1.8 million cubic feet auditorium. Tour the iconic landmark to learn about its history, Art Deco design and engineering features, created by architect Edward Durell Stone with Donald Deskey, one of the most progressive designers of the day. David Agress, lighting designer for the Christmas Spectacular, will provide insights into the process of designing for this majestic venue.
