LEDucation

LEDucation – our annual conference and trade show – offers professionals ready access to the latest in LED products and technology, together with a wide range of accredited seminars. Manufacturers enjoy access to a rich flow of specifying designers. Introduced in 2007, LEDucation has grown to become the preferred venue for meaningful interaction in the lighting community.

Scholarships

The DLFNY Lighting Empowerment Scholarships provide financial support to students enrolled full-time in local, university-level lighting programs. The schools currently include the Parsons School of Design and the New York School of Interior Design. Scholarships are awarded by the school program directors, and interested students may contact them. Through the Nuckolls Fund for Lighting Education, we also provide two annual DLFNY Lighting Achievement Awards to outstanding students.

NCQLP (National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions) has a certification process which practitioners in lighting and related fields must renew. Lighting Certified professionals are required to participate in ongoing professional development to maintain their LC designation. Most DLFNY events qualify for credits under the self-reporting LC recertification process.
